The Philippines has already produced a lot of very talented individuals in different areas such as in sports, acting, singing, etc. Definitely, one of them would have to be fifteen year old Charice Pempengco. She had her international debut in a Korean show called “Super Junior”.In the video shown in Youtube, one can really see the amazement and admiration of the audience as she was singing. Also in the same video, she performed the song “A whole new world” in a duet with one of the stars of the said show, Kyu Hyun. Her performance in that show shocked and wowed the world to the point that it caught the attention of Ellen Degeneres who invited her to perform in her show. Last Dec.21, 2007, me and my friends in Silicon Gulf watched her sing in the Ellen Degeneres Show through Youtube. Everyone at Fwendz Diner was really amazed and impressed because despite the fact that she is so young, she is comparable to most of the adult singers in the country. It really makes us proud to be Filipinos.

Where did the "Jegan" come from? It’s actually taken from a character in the anime titled "Rave Master". He was one of the villains belonging to a group who call themselves "Oracion Seis".
